This upcoming Lords Day, July 13th, our beloved Father John and a parish delegate will be traveling to Pheonix, Arizona for the 21st All-American council. The triennal council will be themed "Gathered Together By Christ" and be held from the 14th of July to the 18th.  Father John and the delegate will report back to the parish on the resloutions, elections, and events of the council. Our Metropolitan has asked us to take time to reflect on the current moment the Church finds herself in, and this council will be a great opprtunity to discuss this and more. All-American Councils are vital to life of our autocephalous Church not only because of their authority, but also because they effectively express the conciliar nature of the Orthodox Church providing an opportunity for the entire Church to gather together in communion, prayer, and faith.
